Denslow illustrated many children's books, probably the best known being
Frank Baum's 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz'. He also published several children's
books of his own, including Mother Goose in 1901. It is from this that the
delightful story of Humpty’s son has been taken.However, the grammar and illustrations do not suit
children of today. Both are viewed as being boring in our fast paced lives.
So, I have taken the liberty of making changes to both to bring the funny story and
quirky ways of Humpty’s Son to life for a more modern audience.
